Hello, my name is Josh Noyes. I’m the organizer and initiator of Perfect Charity Blossom. Before I explain more, I’d like to thank you for taking the time to check out Perfect Charity Blossom! We are usually a biannual event to raise money for Child’s Play Charity, which donates toys and games to children’s hospitals around the world. However, every November, we help out with the Extra Life fundraiser.

Since 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $50 million to help children’s hospitals provide critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, research and charitable care. I spent much of my teenage years in the hospital being treated for cancer, so I know how important good doctors, nurses, and equipment can be – as well as how expensive they are.  I know there are a lot of kids who are facing a rough time, so being able to help raise money for them is something I’m honored to be able to do.

I, personally, am raising money for the Boston Children’s Hospital, a place where I spent much of the time I was being treated for cancer.  They have done a lot for me, and it’s unlikely that I would still be alive if not for them.  So, please, consider giving a few dollars to help possibly save another life.  Even if it ‘merely’ helps a child who is extremely ill, it will still be going to a good cause and to a hospital with doctors and nurses who spend every day trying to make life as good as possible for kids whose lives are at the lowest they’ve ever been.

I know that many people don’t have a lot of money.  And I don’t want you to give more than you can, comfortably.  If you can’t give anything I totally understand, and I thank you for taking the time to read this.  But…  if you can afford to donate a few dollars – even just 5 or 10 – it hopefully won’t be a major inconvenience for you, just the price of a coffee or a month of Spotify, but combined with the $5 or $10 from everyone else, we can make a big difference together.
